We’re thrilled to share some exciting news for the Neerby.Social community: we’ve successfully closed our Series A funding round of USD $50,000,000. This milestone is more than a financial boost — it’s a vote of confidence in the mission we’ve been pursuing from day one: helping people spark real-life connections within meters of where they are.

With this new funding, we’re taking big steps forward. We’ve already welcomed two brilliant developers to our team to accelerate product innovation, and a marketing associate to help spread the word and grow our user network. These new teammates mark the start of a larger journey — expanding Neerby into every neighborhood, coffee shop, and venue where people want to meet, network, or just grab a quick chat with someone close by.

This Series A round gives us the resources to refine our core features (like Ping), roll out long-requested premium tools, and build deeper relationships with local vendors who want to be part of the Neerby experience. More than anything, it allows us to keep obsessing over what matters most: making it remarkably easy to discover and connect with the people around you.
